Joyce Catherine Badon, a 21-year-old from Texas, was swept away during a flood in Hunt. After days of searching, her body was found and identified. The group was staying near the Guadalupe River when sudden floodwaters hit around 4 a.m., destroying their vehicles and trapping them before they could escape.
