Sunny Hostin recently expressed her deep disappointment following the outcome of the presidential election. She shared that the thought of Donald Trump heading back to the White House was profoundly disturbing to her.
It wasn’t just Sunny; the entire panel of hosts on The View has been quite outspoken about their support for Trump’s political rival, Kamala Harris. During the tense election period, they didn’t hold back, labeling Trump as “psychotic” and discussing his actions that they perceived as morally dubious.
Reflecting on the past and present, Hostin stated, “In 2016, we didn’t fully know what to expect from a Trump administration, but now we do. We’re aware of the almost unchecked power he wields.”As soon as Trump secured the win, Sunny Hostin decided to remove herself from X, as she had pledged earlier. She explained her departure by saying she wanted no connection with Elon Musk. Musk has become a notable figure within the government, holding the position of head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Sunny was candid about her future choices, stating, “I have no plans to buy a Tesla, nor any Tesla stocks.”
Her feelings about Twitter, now rebranded as X under Musk’s leadership, are also quite clear. She lamented, “I loved Twitter once, but Musk ruined it.”
Continuing her critique, she said, “Twitter was chaotic before, but changing its name to X was a mistake. Nobody calls it X!”Lately, rumors started swirling around various media outlets suggesting that Sunny Hostin had called Elon Musk a derogatory name on The View. The reports even included claims that Joy Behar, another host, had to apologize and clarify that Hostin’s comments did not represent the views of the show.
However, these claims have been debunked. No credible news platforms have supported these allegations, and there is an absence of any video evidence to back them up.
