Woman Who Filmed Viral ‘Coldplay Couple’ Speaks Out—And Reveals What She Regrets Most

She turned two strangers into the most talked-about couple on the internet.

Grace Springer, the 28-year-old concertgoer who filmed the now-infamous video of the Astronomer CEO and the company’s head of HR dodging the Coldplay kiss cam, is finally telling her side of the story—and it’s a mix of regret, shock, and zero dollars earned.

“I had no idea who they were. Just thought it was a weird reaction and decided to post it,” Springer said in an interview with The U.S. Sun. “But the way it blew up? Totally unexpected.”

The clip—taken at a Gillette Stadium concert—showed Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, both top execs at Astronomer, looking visibly uncomfortable as the camera zoomed in. Their reaction lit up social media, where viewers speculated it was more than just “bad timing.”

It turns out, the speculators were right. Within days, Byron was placed on leave. Within weeks, he resigned. Astronomer confirmed his exit on LinkedIn and emphasized their “commitment to accountability.”

As for Springer, despite her clip being seen over 120 million times, she revealed she made no money at all. “I’m not even part of the TikTok creator fund,” she laughed. “I made $0. But I guess I changed a few lives.”

She admits to one lingering regret: “I feel bad for the families. But honestly? There were 50,000 people there. If I hadn’t posted it, someone else would’ve.”

The kiss cam saga has not only wrecked careers—it has made Springer’s name go viral. Still, she remains torn: “Was it worth it? I don’t know. But the internet decides what it cares about. And that night, it cared about that couple.”

What do YOU think? Was she wrong to post it—or was she just the messenger?
