Going to the supermarket seems easy \u2014 you get what you need and leave. But sometimes, it\u2019s not so simple. Some people have funny or strange stories from their grocery trips.<\/p>\n
At the checkout, an old lady, about 80 years old, was in line before me. She was holding cereal and milk and could hardly stand, leaning on the counter. She had very kind eyes and saw that I only had a can of soda. She said, \u201cSon, you go ahead of me, you only have a soda, and I have a lot.\u201d It made me feel happy.<\/p>\n
So, I had a smart idea. I paid for my soda and waited near the cash register, pretending to check my phone. When the old lady\u2019s items were being rung up, I quickly asked the cashier to let me pay for her things.
