Speaking during a broadcast of \u201cHannity\u201d on Monday, November 11, Tom Homan, President-elect Donald Trump\u2019s newly appointed \u201cborder czar,\u201d sounded off on claims from \u201cThe View\u201d that the incoming Trump Administration will start deporting American citizens under its mass deportation plan.<\/p>\n
Particularly, Homan noted that the next Trump Administration will be securing the southern border, but that the co-hosts of ABC\u2019s \u201cThe View,\u201d which made the claim about American citizens being deported earlier in the day on that Monday, have no idea what they\u2019re talking about.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe View\u201d co-host Ana Navarro said, as background, \u201cYou realize, I mean, it\u2019s chilling what he just said. You realize when he says, \u2018Yes, families can be deported together,\u2019 what he is saying is, that U.S. <\/p>\n
Citizens can be deported. What he is saying is, if the parent is undocumented and they have U.S. Citizen children or U.S. Citizen spouses, and you don\u2019t want to separate them, then let\u2019s deport the U.S. Citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n
Beginning when Fox News Channel\u2019s Sean Hannity asked him if the Trump Administration would actually be deporting U.S. citizens under its deportation plan, Homan said, \u201cNo, exactly not. Look, \u2018The View\u2019 is such an island of misfit toys. They don\u2019t know what the hell they are talking about.\u201d<\/p>\n
Continuing, Homan told Hannity that the main focus of the administration will be focusing on the threats to public safety and national security, saying,<\/p>\n
\u201cPresident Trump has made it clear we will prioritize public safety threats and national security threats first. And that\u2019s what the focus should be.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added, elaborating on the massive scope of that criminal illegal immigrant problem, \u201cThere\u2019s over 1.5. million convicted criminal aliens in this country with final orders removal that we\u2019re going to be looking for.<\/p>\n
