A television presenter is under a whole lot of scrutiny after making some pretty insensitive comments about the Princess of Wales. She is Narinder Kaur, a panelist on Good Morning Britain in a post on November 10, 2024.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what she said.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Although the tweet seems to have been deleted, screenshots of it are still circulating. In it, Narinder shared a curiosity.\u00a0\u201cGenuine question- why has Kate aged so much? Isn\u2019t she only 42?\u201d the 52-year-old presenter questioned. \u201cIs she a smoker? It\u2019s the only explanation.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0And of course, the backlash instantly came rolling in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the Most reprehensible att:a:ck on a woman battling canc3r imaginable,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0one person commented.\u00a0\u201cHeartless and vile comment,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0another person shared.\u00a0\u201cAnd misses the point that Princess of Wales is attending a solemn service of remembrance, not a garden party. Of course she wouldn\u2019t be smiling and dancing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Narinder replied quickly at many of the comments.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The commentator did not hesitate to clap back at people\u2019s comments toward her for most of the day. One person told Narinder, \u201cI hope you look better than that when you get canc3r.\u201d Coming to her own defense, she replied, \u201cThat\u2019s disgusting. It was a genuine ask. My brother had canc3r and di:ed. He didn\u2019t age. Why be so despicable?\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

She eventually released a video statement.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cI put out a stupid tweet. That wasn\u2019t my intention, my intention was not to be malicious or nasty or anything. I\u2019m not like that, anybody who knows me. It was stupid to ask about the aging. I\u2019ve admitted that, I\u2019ve put my hands up and apologized if it caused offense,\u201d Narinder said in part.<\/p>\n
