Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters erupted in outrage Tuesday, screeching her disapproval of both President Donald Trump and tech mogul Elon Musk at an event in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

At a rally held by Democratic lawmakers protesting Musk\u2019s access to information at the Treasury Department, Waters accused him of overstepping his boundaries without the consent of voters during her speech.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have got to tell Elon Musk that nobody elected your ass. Nobody told you you could get all of our private information. Nobody told you you could be in charge of the payments of this country,\u201d Waters yelled.<\/p>\n

While Musk was not actually elected, his boss \u2014 Trump \u2014 was, and by a significant amount over former Vice President Kamala Harris. Also, most senior advisors and Cabinet members of any administration were not elected, either, but serve at the pleasure of the president.<\/p>\n

Waters went on to baselessly accuse Musk of monopolizing on the earnings of ordinary Americans to fund SpaceX and his other business endeavors.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have told you that you\u2019ve made enough money off our government yourself, and now you want to take everybody else\u2019s payroll and make sure that they don\u2019t make the kind of money that you\u2019ve made. Oh, you want to use our money to go to Mars,\u201d Waters said.<\/p>\n

The millionaire congresswoman also complained about Trump and other billionaires, claiming they are attempting to dominate the country\u2019s political and economic spheres.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re in a crisis in this country because Trump and Elon Musk and the billionaires have decided they\u2019re going to put us all in our place. They\u2019re going to run this country. They\u2019re going to make sure that they take over everything,\u201d Waters said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre we going to let them do that? Are we going to let them run this government in the way that they can make even more money and so they won\u2019t stop? It is so brazen every day they\u2019re taking new actions. They\u2019re taking executive actions. Every day they\u2019re doing something,\u201d she whined.<\/p>\n

Treasury Department officials announced Tuesday that federal spending would continue without disruption and emphasized their commitment to protecting the national payments system. The statement came in response to growing scrutiny over the decision to grant Musk\u2019s newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) access to the treasury system.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Treasury officials revealed plans for a review aimed at enhancing the accuracy of payments to both government entities and the public, the Daily Caller reported.<\/p>\n

Other Democrats railed at Musk and hurled insults and epithets at him. \u201cElon Musk is a Nazi nepo baby, a godless lawless billionaire, who no one elected,\u201d Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., screeched at the same rally.<\/p>\n

\u201cElon, this is the American people. This is not your trashy Cybertruck that you can just dismantle, pick apart, and sell the pieces of,\u201d she said, adding: \u201cWe will see you in the court, in Congress, in the streets.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cElon Musk is seizing the power that belongs to the American people,\u201d Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said while shaking her fist alongside Waters. \u201cWe are here to fight back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are gonna be in your face, we are gonna be on your a\u2013es, and we are going to make sure you understand what democracy looks like, and this ain\u2019t it,\u201d Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, also said.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod d\u2014it shut down the Senate!\u201d yelled Rep. LaMonica McIver, D-N.J. \u201cWE ARE AT WAR!\u201d<\/p>\n

Conservatives online pushed back on the \u201cunhinged\u201d comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cRep Ayanna Pressley just called on her followers to agitate in the streets,\u201d LibsofTikTok posted on X. \u201cTypical Democrat doing what they do best: Calling for violence and chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDemocrat lawmakers are losing their minds now that their USAID scam is exposed,\u201d conservative influencer Paul Szypula posted on X. \u201cPressley needs to be censured for inciting violence.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMaking Jasmine Crockett the face of your party is certainly a choice and one I highly encourage,\u201d Red State writer Bonchie posted.<\/p>\n
