Serial entrepreneur and author Magatte Wade criticized Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) and other Democrats, accusing them of making it \u201cclear\u201d in Congress that they are \u201cnot working for the American people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wade, testifying as a congressional witness during a February 11 Judiciary hearing, went viral for calling out Raskin\u2019s inflammatory remarks about Elon Musk and his DOGE force.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo we really need to hire a fourth branch of government called Elon Musk to go out and do it for us?\u201d Rep. Raskin had asked the room on Tuesday, calling Musk and his DOGE team \u201cmutant teenage racist computer hackers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raskin went on to claim, without presenting evidence, that Musk and his team had taken control of financial payment systems at the\u00a0<\/em>United States Department of Treasury and had access to the private financial records of Americans.<\/p>\n

Wade criticized Rep. Raskin in Congress for \u201ccomplaining\u201d about Musk while also questioning what congressional members\u2019 \u201cendgame\u201d was in attacking DOGE\u2019s process.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is the endgame? Isn\u2019t the endgame to make us, the American people, better off? Isn\u2019t it?\u201d Wade asked. She argued that Democratic lawmakers should prioritize aiding Americans over focusing on Musk.<\/p>\n

\u201cKeep your eye on the ball. And your ball should be me,\u201d she said during the hearing. \u201cHow do we make me better off?\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, she\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0Fox News\u2019 Will Cain that watching Democrats during the hearing was a \u201cjoke.\u201d<\/p>\n

The entrepreneur from Africa, who has launched businesses in both Senegal and Silicon Valley, emphasized the critical issue of overregulation discussed during the hearing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re talking about probably the most important thing in America right now,\u201d she argued. Wade emphasized that she has observed the negative effects of overregulation on individuals and small businesses in her native country.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means the difference between life and death, war or peace, being free or enslaved. And in the end, if we\u2019re talking about human dignity here,\u201d she told Cain.<\/p>\n

The entrepreneur remarked that while listening to Raskin and other congressional members, it became clear to her that these leaders were not just \u201cignoring you\u201d but actively \u201cnagging you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then you wonder to yourself, wait? Are you not working for us? Have you been put in this position by us? Are you not reporting to us? So the whole thing seemed upside down,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Wade described leaving the congressional hearing deeply concerned about what the government has become, stating that the Maryland Democrat was \u201cclearly\u201d not working in the best interests of the American people.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know who he\u2019s working for, but it\u2019s not for us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
