Dan Bongino made headlines on Tuesday morning after he shared a photo of himself with newly sworn-in FBI Director Kash Patel.<\/p>\n

Bongino captioned the photo with an American flag and heart emoji, leaving many on social media to speculate about what the two men will accomplish while leading the FBI together.<\/p>\n

Bongino has been chosen to be the Deputy Director of the FBI under Patel. Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and a strong supporter of Trump, said he was \u201cfocused on getting to work\u201d at the bureau.<\/p>\n

Bongino told his listeners in an emotional message on Monday morning that he would no longer be commenting on politics.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not going to be the last show, but we\u2019ve only got a few more left with you,\u201d Bongino told viewers. \u201cSo, obviously, we\u2019re going to be working with a team of people to make this transition from me, political commentator Dan, to Deputy Director of the FBI Dan.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThose are different roles that require different skills. Skills I have and have used before and I plan to use again. It\u2019s going to hurt to leave you,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
