Gwynevere Staddon was found unresponsive in the bathroom of a Port Moody Starbucks by an employee, reports Global News.According to Port Moody police, the teen couldn\u2019t be revived by emergency responders. She was found with a small amount of drugs and paraphernalia in her possession.<\/p>\n
Staddon\u2019s mother, Veronica, says she \u201ccompletely suspects\u201d that her daughter died from an overdose of fentanyl, says CBC. Her official cause of death has yet to be determineddetermined.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy best friend, my daughter, my sweetheart baby \u2026 I will never stop missing you,\u201d the mother wrote on Facebook. \u201cMy heart won\u2019t stop breaking.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Veronica, Gwynevere had been struggling with substance abuse for some time. Prior to her death, she told her mother she had stopped using for three weeks.<\/p>\n
