The woman paled. The man looked stunned. But it got even worse when, in a last-ditch attempt to defend herself, she blurted:<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s leaving his wife for me anyway! We\u2019ll be married soon!\u201d<\/p>\n
Yep. They weren\u2019t just dishonest\u2014they were having an affair. The entire cabin watched in stunned silence as they were led away by the crew.<\/p>\n
Sweet, Silent Victory
\nAs I collected my bag and stepped off the plane, I caught one last glimpse of them\u2014faces flushed with humiliation, muttering under their breath. They thought they were clever. They thought they\u2019d won.<\/p>\n
But in the end, they lost more than a seat.
