Tragically, the brutal act wasn\u2019t an isolated event within the Doran family. While Connor and Brandon were being questioned, their older brother Ryan was preparing for trial on a separate murder charge. Ryan Doran had earlier launched a fatal, unprovoked attack on 42-year-old Wayne Mitchell.<\/p>\n
Their mother, Linda Doran, was later jailed for providing a false alibi for her sons, obstructing the police investigation. Another brother, Jordan Doran, was sentenced for contempt after using a phone to take pictures during court proceedings.<\/p>\n
A Night of Tragedy<\/p>\n
On August 17, 2012, Kevin Bennett was targeted as he slept in an alley near County Road. Encouraged by Connor Doran, Simon Evans delivered multiple blows while Brandon acted as lookout. Despite severe injuries, Mr. Bennett managed to reach the front of the store before collapsing.
