A Colorado family of five \u2014 including three children \u2014 has passed away following a collision on Highway 9 near Kremmling on August 4, 2025. Authorities say a Ford F-150 crossed into the southbound lane and struck the family\u2019s GMC Yukon. The victims were identified as Andrea Banuelos-Salazar, 30; Manuel Cabral-Torres, 34; and their children Maria, 12; Manuel, 5; and Andres, 2. All were residents of Kremmling and originally from Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico.<\/p>\n
They were just minutes from home when the incident occurred. The driver of the pickup truck, a 25-year-old man, sustained serious injuries. The cause remains under investigation. The loss has deeply affected the West Grand School District, where some of the children attended.
