In a Starbucks restroom, a 16-year-old girl was discovered dead from what appeared to be an overdose.<\/p>\n

According to Global News, an employee discovered Gwynevere Staddon unconscious in a Port Moody Starbucks restroom. Emergency personnel were unable to revive the teenager, according to Port Moody police. She was discovered in possession of a small quantity of drugs and paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

According to CBC, Veronica, Staddon\u2019s mother, \u201ccompletely suspects\u201d that her daughter overdosed on fentanyl and died. Her cause of death has not yet been officially established.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter, my best friend, my darling baby \u2026 On Facebook, the mother wrote, \u201cI will always miss you.\u201d \u201cMy heart keeps shattering.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwynevere had been battling substance abuse for a while, according to Veronica. She informed her mother that she had given up using for three weeks before she passed away.<\/p>\n
