The incident took place during the \u201cAmerican Comeback Tour\u201d hosted by the TPUSA chapter at the university.<\/p>\n
Video footage circulating on social media shows Kirk being struck while speaking and sitting beneath a tent in the university\u2019s courtyard, with students fleeing the area following the sound of a gunshot.<\/p>\n
