But when he pressed Landon about it, Landon laughed it off\u2014said he was just \u201crepurposing old data.\u201d Reid later found out Landon was trying to sell\u00a0footage<\/em>\u00a0from the cameras. Not just of me, or my sister, but also guests who stayed over\u2014my friend Adela, even our neighbor\u2019s teenage daughter once.<\/p>\n

I felt sick.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been doing this for\u00a0months,<\/em>\u201d my sister said. \u201cAnd when I found out, I came to you, but you didn\u2019t believe me back then. Remember that fight we had in March?\u201d<\/p>\n

I did. She\u2019d accused me of being \u201ctoo trusting\u201d with Landon, and I blew up at her. I thought she was just being dramatic.<\/p>\n
