Butter Toffee Pretzels
\nIngredients
\nMini pretzel twists \u2013 10 cups (1 bag, 16 oz)
\nLight brown sugar, packed \u2013 1 cup
\nUnsalted butter, cubed \u2013 1\/2 cup (1 stick)
\nLight corn syrup \u2013 1\/4 cup
\nVanilla extract \u2013 1 tsp
\nBaking soda \u2013 1\/2 tsp
\nHeath toffee bits \u2013 1 bag
\nInstructions
\n1. Preheat & Prepare Pan
\nHeat your oven to 200\u00b0F (95\u00b0C). Lightly grease a large roasting pan. Spread the pretzels in an even layer and set aside.<\/p>\n
2. Cook the Toffee
\nPlace the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a medium saucepan. Warm over medium heat until boiling. Let the mixture boil for a full 5 minutes, stirring the entire time.<\/p>\n
3. Add Flavorings
\nTake the pan off the heat and whisk in the vanilla and baking soda. The mixture will foam up quickly.<\/p>\n
4. Coat the Pretzels
\nDrizzle the hot toffee over the pretzels. Sprinkle on half of the toffee bits and mix well so every pretzel is covered.<\/p>\n
5. Bake the Mix
\nBake for 1 hour, giving everything a good stir every 15 minutes to keep the coating even.<\/p>\n
6. Cool & Finish
