A woman has posted about a mysterious \u2018egg\u2019 on her mate\u2019s ceiling and people have commented to warn them not to touch it.<\/p>\n
Sharing a picture of the object on Facebook group Family Lowdown Tips & Ideas, the original poster wrote: \u201cThis is inside my friends son\u2019s wardrobe \u2013 they don\u2019t know if it\u2019s always been there & they\u2019ve never seen it or if it\u2019s just appeared. They\u2019ve not long moved in.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnyone [got] any ideas what it is? And what they should do?\u201d<\/p>\n
One person wrote: \u201cLooks like some sort of nest like a spiders nest id be careful not to disturb it or touch it or you might have millions of spiders crawling out good luck I\u2019d call pest control<\/p>\n
Another added: \u201cSpider nest I had one in my cupboard and when I tried to move it millions of baby spiders run out everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
And a third suggested: \u201cGet the hoover out, whatever it is will be well gone once Henry, hetty or Dyson suck the life out of it!\u201d<\/p>\n
Yet another person told the family they should \u2018put a box over it,\u2019 before adding: \u201cScrape it into the box. Seal and post to enemy. Enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n

t seems that the \u2018egg\u2019 might have actually been something less worrying as another user (presumably the owner of the house) posted a further picture, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s alright, it was expanding foam.\u201d<\/p>\n
People complained that they wanted it to be \u2018something scary and exciting\u2019 while another dubbed it an \u2018anti-climax\u2019.<\/p>\n
To this, the woman replied: \u201cSorry to disappoint.\u201d<\/p>\n
When another user suggested she was ballsy for even checking, she added: \u201cI didn\u2019t, my fianc\u00e9 did after he got out of work.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fair enough.<\/p>\n
In case anyone does happen to have a spider\u2019s nest though, another person wrote: \u201cMy other half was in pest control and he believes it\u2019s a spider\u2019s egg nest.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can hoover it up and then put a load of Raid in the hoover.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf it is a spider\u2019s nest then there will be thousands in there.\u201d<\/p>\n
