Beloved weatherman Al Roker has been absent from television since a serious health scare involving blood clots in his thigh that spread to his lungs and necessitated hospitalization.
In a heartfelt tweet, Roker shared his current road to recovery, his gratitude for the support he’s received, and his thanks for the fans’ well wishes.In the past, Roker has been transparent about his health issues, which include surgery for hip and knee issues as well as prostate cancer.
