Retired General Michael Flynn issued a bold warning to the deep state following Trump’s anticipated win in the 2024 election.
Flynn declared that the true battle would begin once Trump took office for his second term, and he vowed to dismantle the “weaponized” federal government.
“This is a huge victory,” Flynn said, but “the real work starts now.”
He urged Trump’s supporters to “stay humble” and “get some rest” before the fight to come, as the Trump administration would focus on a deep overhaul of the government.
He continued, emphasizing that the challenge ahead wasn’t just about winning the election but also about exposing the corruption embedded within the system.
“We’re going to take this fight to the next level,” he said. Flynn made clear that once the victory was secured, the pushback against the deep state would be swift and decisive. “We win, and then—‘Katy, bar the door,’” he warned.
Flynn also called out the mainstream media, especially Fox News, for its complicity in spreading misinformation.
He stated, “Fox News should be ashamed of themselves,” referring to the network’s role in calling states early in the 2020 election. Flynn’s criticism underscores the growing distrust among Trump supporters toward traditional media outlets.
At the same time, Flynn expressed his belief that the left would not easily surrender power. “They will not give up power easily.
They’ve tried to kill this man (Trump) a couple of times already,” he said, adding that their resistance was a clear indication of their determination to maintain control.
In addition to his commitment to rooting out corruption,
Flynn also voiced strong support for those who had been imprisoned following the January 6th Capitol riots.
“Those people are going to be vindicated and released in the coming months,” he promised, highlighting his commitment to justice for Trump supporters who had been arrested.
With an eye on the future, Flynn stressed the importance of unity and perseverance among Trump’s base.
“We’ve got to be courageous, we’ve got to be humble, and we’ve got to fight through this,” he said, echoing the rallying cry of his movement. “Our fight isn’t over; it’s just begun.”
The interview with Alex Jones reflects Flynn’s long-standing belief in the existence of a “deep state” that has undermined American values and institutions.
His words are likely to resonate with the millions of Trump supporters who share his skepticism of both the government and the media, reaffirming his place as a key figure in the Trump movement.
