My Husband Thought I Was Asleep and Whispered the Truth I Wish…

Words uttered in the stillness of the night can occasionally linger in eerie ways. Our reader was lying in bed after a heated disagreement when she heard her spouse lean in and say something that devastated her. He dismissed it with an explanation the following day, but it didn’t help.

One of our readers sent us a message.

My husband and I argued at night, so we slept in separate rooms. I was struggling to fall asleep, so I was lying with my eyes closed.

The next morning, I couldn’t get those words out of my head. I decided to ask him directly if he really meant it.

He looked at me, clearly confused, and said I must have been dreaming. I’m sure I heard him say it.

What should I do?
