My Ex Was Wasting Our Son’s College Money on His Stepdaughter

My ex-husband is using half of our son’s college fund to pay for his stepdaughter’s college. I was furious, but he said, “I earned that money, not you!” So, I called my lawyer.

We froze in horror when we found out that his wife and stepdaughter had been lying to him from the start. It turns out that the stepdaughter earned a full scholarship and isn’t using a dime of the money for her college.

Instead, his wife had been deceitful and opened a separate, secret account with thousands of dollars she had been taking from him for years.

After he confronted her, she admitted that she had been planning to leave him for some time and had met someone new. They are now working on their divorce papers. I feel lost and devastated right now. That money was meant for my son’s future.
