How My Snore Became a Viral Sensation

Two months ago, my wife approached me, her face filled with fear. Her voice trembled as she nervously said, “Don’t be mad at me!” My heart sank, as I could see the anxiety written all over her face. I love her deeply, so seeing her in such distress immediately put me on edge.

She continued, her eyes welling up with tears, “I’ve done something. It’s bad. I never meant for it to go this far…” I could feel her anxiety rising as she handed me her laptop. My mind raced with confusion, unsure of what she had done. I had never seen her so upset, and the sense of dread only grew.

With shaky hands, I opened the laptop, my curiosity and fear mounting. As I looked at the screen, my breath caught in my throat. There, in front of me, was an audio clip of my snoring, posted on Spotify. My disbelief deepened as I saw the number of listeners—40,000. It was impossible to comprehend.

I stared at the screen, trying to process what was happening. The situation felt surreal. My snoring, something so personal and embarrassing, had turned into an unexpected viral sensation. How had it come to this? And more importantly, how could I ever look at my wife the same way after she made this strange decision?
