In an amazing find, the body parts of a woman who went missing 23 years ago with her daughter have been found in her car in Arkansas. The family finally has answers after looking for them for over twenty years after the cold case was solved.

The police said Samantha Jean Hopper and her daughter Courtney Holt were missing on September 11, 1998. She was on her way to Little Rock to pick up her daughter before going to a show at the time. A lot of people looked for Hopper, her daughter, and her blue Ford Tempo, but nothing was found.

The car was found thanks to Adventures With Purpose, a non-profit group whose mission is to solve unsolved cold cases. Authorities have reported that bodies were found inside the car, which was submerged in eight feet of water.

They were thanked by the Pope County Sheriff’s Office for helping to solve the 23-year-old case and sent their condolences to the families of Samantha Hopper and Courtney Holt.

For Samantha’s daughter Dezarea Hopper, the finding has made her feel better. She had been looking for years for answers about what happened to her mother, and the news finally put her mind at ease. On a tribute page, she wrote that finding her mother’s body was “relieving.”
