I made my husband’s favorite breakfast burrito as a surprise. I woke up early to prepare it for him before he left for work, knowing he’d be busy.

uncomfortable and eventually admitted he hadn’t eaten the meal I made. Instead, he accepted food from a young coworker, saying he didn’t want to be rude.

I felt hurt and disrespected, especially after spending so much time preparing the meal. When I expressed my feelings, he dismissed it, saying it wasn’t a big deal and he didn’t want to seem rude. I’m still upset and wondering if I overreacted.
