Man Spends $70K To Tattoo His Full Body And Eyeballs, Reveals What He Looked Like Before

In a jaw-dropping display of individuality, TikTok sensation Quest Gulliford, a cancer survivor with an extensive collection of tattoos, is making waves with his viral video unveiling not only his full-body ink but also his daring dyed eyeballs.

Gulliford, a triumphant Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor, has invested a whopping $70,000 in tattoos since embarking on his inked journey back in 2009.

His recent TikTok clip takes viewers on a visceral journey as he shares the experience of enduring an eyeball tattoo, a feat that required significant mental preparation.

Expressing the high stakes involved in the procedure, Gulliford remarked, “It was definitely high risk, high reward, especially since I’ve wanted it done for so long… and I’m still very happy with it three years later.”

The financial commitment to his unique form of self-expression extends beyond $70,000, with an astounding $10,000 allocated solely to the transformation of his eyes.

Describing the mental fortitude required on the day of the eyeball tattoo in Houston, Texas, Gulliford admitted, “It took me a long time actually on the day once I walked into the shop to even psych myself up to get it done.” The unconventional procedure involves a needle penetrating all sides of the eyeball, more akin to an injection or modification than a traditional skin tattoo.

In a surprising twist, Gulliford revealed plans to return to the same tattoo artist next month to further enhance his eye ink, solidifying his commitment to pushing the boundaries of self-expression.

Amidst the extensive tapestry of tattoos adorning his body, Gulliford proudly bears ink that symbolizes his victorious battle against cancer. From the first tattoo—a cross on his chest with the words ‘God First’—to a poignant purple cancer ribbon marking his seventh-grade struggle with Hodgkins Lymphoma, each tattoo tells a story of resilience.

Recalling the health journey that led to his tattoos, Gulliford shared, “I had a big lymph node growing… I didn’t think anything of it. It was about six months of chemotherapy. I felt like I had superhuman strength following that experience.”

In a 2019 interview with Inked, Gulliford disclosed his initiation into facial tattoos at the age of 18, initially met with his mother’s disapproval. While she eventually accepted smaller face tattoos, the expansion of ink onto a larger canvas triggered her reservations, prompting interventions at tattoo shops in an attempt to dissuade artists from larger facial tattoos.

Quest Gulliford’s unapologetic journey of self-expression, marked by triumph over adversity, continues to captivate audiences, proving that sometimes, the most remarkable stories are written on our skin.
