Simply pour about half a cup of liquid dish soap into the toilet bowl. Let it sit for about 25 to 30 minutes. When the time is up, fill a bucket with hot water. Pour the hot water into the toilet bowl, ensuring you’re not overflowing it.

The combination of the dish soap and hot water will lubricate the area of the clog, allowing it to pass through the plumbing. If this method doesn’t work the first time,
