People Who Will Never See Life the Same Way Again

The lies and betrayals we face in life change us, making us stronger and smarter, even if it doesn’t seem that way at first.

The people in this article went through shocks from people close to them or unexpected events. Instead of letting it bring them down, they courageously moved forward and shared their stories online.

The Story:

We rent our flat at a low price because the 80-year-old woman next door is crazy. She starts making loud noises at 4 a.m. to bother the neighbors. A young man came to rent from us, and we warned him about it, but he just smiled.

A year passed, and we were shocked that he was still living there—no one else had lasted more than 8 weeks. Then, the lady died. They put her house up for sale right away, so we went in to check it out.

We were horrified to find a photo on her nightstand of her hugging the guy who was renting our flat.

After looking into it, we found out he was her grandson, and she had purposely driven away all our renters so he could rent it for cheap. The guy disappeared a few days after she died, and we couldn’t do anything about it.
