The famous political analyst Lou Dobbs passed away at the age of 78.

With his outstanding career at CNN and Fox News, Dobbs was a divisive figure, particularly because of his remarks regarding Barack Obama.

In his condolence message on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump considered Dobbs as “an incredible talent” and a “friend and truly amazing reporter, journalist, and artist.”

“Lou was unique, and he loved our nation,” Trump continued.

Dobbs started his career at KBLU radio in Arizona before moving to television in the mid-1970s and joining NBC’s King-TV in Seattle. In 1980, he hosted Moneyline, a business news program on CNN, and was among the network’s earliest reporters.

He departed CNN in 2009 because of controversy surrounding his coverage of illegal immigration,. He began hosting “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on Fox Business in 2010 and continued until its cancellation in 2021.

Fox News Media expressed their sympathies by describing Dobbs as “an amazing businessman with a gift for broadcasting” and acknowledging his significant contributions to cable news. Dobbs is survived by his wife, Debi, and their six children.
