WATCH: President Trump Posts Footage of ISIS Airstrikes in Somalia – SecDef Pete Hegseth: “United States Always Stands Ready to Find and Eliminate Terrorists… Even as We Conduct Robust Border-Protection”

President Trump, on Saturday evening, put enemies of the American people on notice, demonstrating the consequences of wishing to harm the American people with a video of U.S. airstrikes on ISIS targets in Somalia earlier in the day.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said in a statement Saturday,

At President Trump’s direction and in coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia, we authorized U.S. Africa Command to conduct coordinated airstrikes today targeting ISIS-Somalia operatives in the Golis mountains.

Our initial assessment is that multiple operatives were killed in the airstrikes and no civilians were harmed. This action further degrades ISIS’s ability to plot and conduct terrorist attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians and sends a clear signal that the United States always stands ready to find and eliminate terrorists who threaten the United States and our allies, even as we conduct robust border-protection and many other operations under President Trump’s leadership.

Notably, this strike comes after President Trump redesignated the Houthi Muslims as foreign terrorists after Biden revoked their terrorist status in 2021. He also designated the cartels smuggling humans and deadly fentanyl across our borders as terrorists.

Pete Hegseth recently said, “All options are on the table,” when he was asked if the U.S. will use military force against the cartels in Mexico.

The President released an unclassified video of the airstrikes, which “killed many,” including the ISIS Attack Planner who was targeted in the attack:

This strike also comes exactly one month after the New Year’s Day terror attack in New Orleans, which killed 14 and injured dozens. A driver in a white pick-up truck intentionally plowed a car into a crowd of New Year’s gatherers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans and began firing a weapon at police officers. The terrorist, identified as 42-year-old Army veteran Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was later discovered to have set up a bomb-making station in his home, where he left a Quran opened to a passage about martyrdom.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump announced on Saturday morning that he ordered precision air strikes on an ISIS Attack Planner and other terrorists who “threatened the United States and our Allies” in Somalia after the U.S. military found them hiding in caves. “The strikes destroyed the caves they live in, and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians,” the President said.

He said that the ISIS official was “targeted for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!”

“WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!” the President also said in a message to ISIS “and all others who would attack Americans.”

President Trump reposted his statement, where he announced the air strike earlier, and released the video Saturday evening.
