18-Month-Old Twins Tragically Die After Grandma Leaves The Back Door Open👇👇 full story in comment.

In a devastating incident, an Oklahoma City family is mourning the loss of their twin toddlers, a boy and a girl, who drowned in their family pool. The tragedy occurred when their great-grandmother, who has Alzheimer’s, accidentally left the back door open, allowing the children to wander outside.

Jenny Callazzo, a 37-year-old stay-at-home mom and boutique owner, made the tragic discovery on a Thursday morning when she found her 18-month-old children,

Locklyn and Loreli, unconscious at the bottom of the pool. Despite immediate efforts to save them, they were pronounced dead two hours later, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Jenny lives in a $565,000 home with her grandmother, six children, and her husband Sonny, a 42-year-old marketing executive. According to a relative, the great-grandmother’s mistake in leaving the back door open enabled the twins to escape unnoticed, leading to the heart-wrenching accident.

Aerial footage of the home showed a pool covered in algae, highlighting the potential hazards. While the police are investigating, they currently do not suspect foul play.

Before the incident, Jenny had shared pictures of her twins playing outside, reflecting their innocence before the tragedy. Neighbors witnessed the distressing scene of Jenny being transported in an EMS vehicle as paramedics tried to revive her children.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help the family with unexpected expenses, underscoring the community’s support during this difficult time.

Laura Gamino, an injury prevention coordinator at OU Health, emphasized the dangers of water for young children and stressed the need for vigilance. She recommended installing 4-foot-high fences with secure gates around pools to prevent such accidents.

As the community grieves for Locklyn and Loreli, this incident highlights the critical need for water safety and preventative measures. It serves as a somber reminder of life’s fragility and the importance of safeguarding our loved ones.
