Six-year-old Gracelyn Vick disappeared on Sunday afternoon in Saucier, Mississippi, after going outside to play but never returning.
Her family reported her missing, prompting an intense search by the Harrison County Sheriffās Office,
local law enforcement, and volunteers. Tragically, her body was found later that day near her home.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities have not yet determined if foul play was involved.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
This loss is especially heartbreaking for Gracelynās mother, Vicky Lynn Hutcherson, as this is the third child she has lost.
