Dad removes full-body tattoos for sake of his young daughter

We all have moments in our past that we’re not particularly proud of, whether it’s choices we regret or words we wish we could take back.

However, I bet not many of us can claim to have regrets as significant and noticeable as Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, an Australian body art enthusiast who has adorned his body with over 200 tattoos.

These days, expressing oneself through tattoos is quite popular, and unique, detailed designs seem to be the trend. Still, there’s a limit to what most people are willing to invest in their body art, and for many, that limit is far below what Ethan has chosen to embrace.

According to reports, Ethan made the decision to modify his body for the first time at just 11 years old, starting with ear stretching. Since then, he has explored a variety of procedures, including splitting his tongue and removing his belly button.

Ethan’s tattoos are what really catch people’s eyes, and it’s no wonder since he’s adorned from head to toe. He shared that he has invested around $60,000 AUD (approximately $39,000 USD) to achieve his current look.

However, he has recently voiced some regrets about his earlier decisions. “I suppose you could say I regret some of my tattoos,” he mentioned during an interview with LadBibleTV’s No Filter series.

“It’s not just regret; I believe there’s a distinction between regret and wanting to be seen in a different light.”

Ethan expressed concerns about the judgment he might encounter while doing everyday activities, like dropping his young daughter off at school.

“The face is a significant aspect that can lead to various issues for some people—not everyone—but it can create challenges that I wouldn’t want my daughter to face until she’s older,” he explained.

“I wish I hadn’t gone as extreme as I did with my face.” To improve his appearance, Ethan has been undergoing painful laser treatments to remove some of the tattoos he got in his youth.

The Change
He shared, “I’ve been undergoing laser treatment for about a year now… We tackle it in stages, but I’ve probably gone through the entire process six or seven times.

“I decided to start this journey because of the anxiety I was experiencing… Mental health can be tricky to understand, but I believe a lot of my anxiety stemmed from having a face covered in tattoos.

“I’m content with my appearance, but I’m also excited about the idea that in the next couple of years, my facial tattoos will gradually fade away. I’m just preparing a fresh canvas.”

I don’t know about you, but I’m really looking forward to seeing Ethan’s transformation once he’s completely removed the tattoos from his face. Major respect to him for making such a courageous decision!
