The FBI is implementing enhanced security measures for its Deputy Director, Dan Bongino, assigning a rotating team of up to 20 agents to provide 24/7 protection.
The move marks the first time a deputy director has received such a comprehensive security detail.
The agency recently requested volunteers from within its ranks to join the protective team under a temporary duty assignment.
