Alon Aboutboul, the renowned Israeli actor known globally for roles in “Rambo III” and “The Dark Knight Rises”, has tragically died at age 60 after collapsing at a beach in northern Israel.

Aboutboul had been swimming in the waters off HaBonim beach, a rugged Mediterranean strip near Atlit, when he returned to shore complaining of discomfort. Moments later, he collapsed in front of onlookers. Emergency medical responders arrived quickly and attempted resuscitation at 8:22 a.m., but were unable to revive him.
