I Recently Spent $6,500 on a Bull — What Happened Next Surprised Me

A few months ago, I invested $6,500 in a registered Black Angus bull. He was strong, healthy-looking, and exactly what I needed to improve my herd. But after introducing him to the pasture, I quickly grew concerned. Instead of showing any interest in the cows, he spent his days calmly grazing, completely ignoring the purpose he was bought for.

Worried that I’d made a costly mistake, I decided to call the veterinarian for advice. After a thorough check-up, the vet assured me the bull was perfectly healthy, just a bit young and inexperienced. As a solution, he gave me a special supplement — small pills I was to give the bull once a day.

To my surprise, the change was almost immediate. Within just two days, my once-lazy bull sprang into action, fulfilling his role with boundless energy. In fact, he became so vigorous that he even managed to break through a fence to visit the neighbor’s herd!

I still don’t know exactly what was in those pills, but they had a faint peppermint scent. Whatever they were, they turned my quiet, laid-back bull into the most productive member of the farm — proving that sometimes, the right help at the right time can make all the difference.
