Kylie Jenner, 28, may be facing heartbreak after reportedly splitting from her boyfriend, Wonka star Timothée Chalamet, 29, following a two-and-a-half-year romance.

The news comes just after Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday bash, where Kylie reportedly appeared “lonely” while Timothée was notably absent.

Kylie and Timothée had kept their relationship relatively low-key since first being linked in April 2023, though the pair did make appearances together at high-profile events.

Despite their discretion, sources have reportedly revealed that trouble has been brewing behind the scenes.

A source – according to The Mirror – claimed: “There is trouble in paradise, but they aren’t completely over.

“He is filming quite a bit, and she feels that she has to chase him.

“She is putting in the work more than him.”

Another insider added: “This has happened before, but she talked him into getting back together. She is crazy about him, so that could well happen again.”

Although Kylie and Timothée have occasionally shared public displays of affection, they’ve mostly kept their relationship under wraps.

In a 2024 British Vogue interview, Jenner declined to discuss the romance, and sources now imply that she’s frustrated by Chalamet’s reluctance to talk about their relationship.

Insiders say this has fueled a feeling that she’s putting more effort into the partnership than he is.

Friends claim Jenner had expected the couple to be more open publicly and was taken aback by how casually Timothée brushed off questions about them.

“Kylie was genuinely upset that he dismissed the topic so lightly. She thought they were at a point where their relationship could be celebrated, not ignored,” a source said, via Radar Online.

Despite feeling hurt, Jenner is maintaining appearances on social media. “She’s angry, stunned, and heartbroken all at once, but as usual, she’s keeping up a happy front for her followers,” the friend added.

Their busy schedules have also added tension.

Sources reveal that Kylie has been the one making the effort to call, visit, and maintain contact, while Chalamet rarely reciprocates.

“She’s been traveling to support him, but it’s not often returned,” the insider said.

Another industry source noted that this dynamic is typical of how Chalamet handles relationships.

Timothée’s absence at Kris’ iconic 007-themed birthday bash seemed to fuel the rumors.

While Kylie dazzled in a plunging, backless white gown, Timothée wasn’t spotted anywhere at the Beverly Hills celebration.

The Vogue cover star also seemingly hinted at a distance in the relationship earlier, telling the magazine that he doesn’t discuss his personal life because there isn’t “anything to say.”

Despite the romantic tension, Kris Jenner clearly lived it up for her milestone birthday.

Hosted at Jeff Bezos’ Beverly Hills mansion, the soirée drew a who’s who of Hollywood, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Paris Hilton, and Martha Stewart (even the cops were called to the party several times).

Kris embraced the James Bond theme to perfection, turning heads in a stunning red gown while dancing the night away.

She shared moments from the evening on Instagram, including clinking glasses with Mariah Carey and celebrating with her six children: Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, Rob, Kylie, and Kendall.

The evening also featured a surprise performance by Bruno Mars, adding extra sparkle to the glamorous event.

Even royal guests played along with the theme; Meghan and Harry opted for classic black-tie attire, with Harry adding a poppy in honor of Remembrance Day.
