The Morning Everything Started Disappearing

Three days later, Chelsea hosted brunch for her wealthy neighborhood friends, pretending everything was still perfect. But at exactly 10:15 that morning, a yellow tow truck rolled onto Thunderbird Road and stopped directly in front of their house.

The driver chained the luxury SUV without hesitation while Chelsea screamed in disbelief. One by one, her friends stepped onto the porch and watched the repossession unfold in front of the entire neighborhood. The woman who loved showing off her perfect life suddenly stood sobbing on the lawn while her prized vehicle disappeared down the street.

At the same time, Logan’s own problems exploded at work. Rumors about bankruptcy spread through the dealership after the bank contacted his boss directly. Their carefully polished image was collapsing from every direction at once.
