The House They Thought Was Theirs..

After her husband died, Barbara sold the home they had shared and gave the money to her son, Daniel, and his wife, Emily, so they could buy a larger house. In return, they invited her to live with them as part of the family.

For three years, she cooked, cleaned, cared for the grandchildren, and helped maintain the household. She believed she was contributing to a loving home and being part of the family she cherished.
