14-Year-Old Girl Spend 200$ To Buy An Old Caravan, But Wait Till You See What She Made Of It

Ellie Yeater does not spend her summers hanging out with friends, swimming in pools, or wasting her free time playing computer games.

The 14-year-old Williamstown, West Virginia, resident spent her summer break transforming a 1974 Wilderness camper into what she refers to as a “Glamper.”The terms “camping” and “glamorous” are combined to get the word “glamper”.She claims that the updated Wilderness glamper will make camping a lot more enjoyable and less cumbersome.
Just wait until you see her beautifully remodeled Wilderness camper to see what an ambitious high school student she is.

She saved up about $500, according to the child’s mother Lori, through housework, birthday money, and other activities to purchase and renovate the camper.

Here is a picture of the camper as it was before any alterations.

Yeater claimed to have seen her camper for sale for $200 on a community bulletin board.

She used the money left over after purchasing the camper to pay for paint, flooring, textiles, and other accessories for her glamper.

Ellie claims that because the previous owners used it for both camping and hunting, the camper was in very bad shape. It required work—a lot of labor. said her mum.

Her older brother, Isaiah, was the one who initially had the idea to create a small camper.

She claims that Isaiah has constructed a little cabin for him and his pals to hang out in, and she wanted something similar for her buddy, only “cuter” and located closer to the house since she needed electricity and Wi-Fi.

The camper was to be stripped down and thoroughly cleaned before she could start her business.

Then she went and used Valspar’s “Mystic Sea” hue to paint the camper.

In the picture above, Ellie cleans up any extra glue that was left on the floor after everything was taken apart.

The image of her grandfather Lawrence teaching her some fundamental carpentry skills, such bracing and patching holes, is also shown above.

Ellie proceeded to pick the color scheme she preferred for the following stage—a type of aqua blue.

Ellie painstakingly paints the interior, transforming the drab wood concept into a more colorful one.

Making some progress, the interior of the camper is beginning to take shape in the picture below.

The finishing touches were added in the last stages. While Ellie laid new floor tiles, Mary, Ellie’s grandma, assisted with creating the upholstery for the seat cushions and curtains.

Ellie claimed that in order to prepare for her glamper, she gathered a lot of items over the summer.

You can see her bringing in a mannequin decoration that she bought from a warehouse that recently shut down in the picture below.

She stated she obtained a lot of inspiration for her project from Pinterest which helped greatly.

Ellie keeps adding her decorations to the nearly finished Glamper, including a vintage camera, a retro electric fan, and complementing napkins handcrafted by her grandma.

When asked what she plans to do once the project is finished, she replies that she might have a sleepover with her friends or just some quiet time to read and play the ukulele.

Ellie created a stunning glamper with her willpower. It is incredible for someone her age to take on such a large project alone.

Ellie’s mother responds, “I have never told her that she couldn’t do anything,” when asked why her daughter would accept such a challenge.

And with that kind of encouragement, Ellie set out to create something stunning.

Looking at Ellie’s endeavor as a finished product, we should never forget that effort always pays off. If we set our minds to it, we can achieve anything.
